چکیده
BACKGROUND: von Willebrand Factor (vWF) is a large glycoprotein mediating hemostasis and thrombosis. The roles of vWF are platelets adhesion to sites vascular damage stabilization coagulation factor VIII. AIM: This study aimed analyze the polymorphism gene on preeclampsia (PE) in pregnancy Medan, Indonesia. MATERIALS AND METHODS: DNA was amplified using polymerase chain reaction electrophoresed agarose 2%. Electrophoresis results were detected Gel Doc 1000 (Biorad, USA). sequencing method used identify from gene. RESULTS: From 50 samples PE patients, g.93308C>T found with percentage TT, CT, CC genotypes as 50%, 42%, 8%, respectively. CONCLUSION: c.93308C>T genotype homozygous heterozygote CT greater than wild-type CC.

Polymorphism in the promoter region of von Willebrand factor gene and von Willebrand disease type 1
The -1185A/G polymorphism in the 5’-regulatory region of the von Willebrand factor (VWF) gene was associated with VWF plasma levels in a normal population. This study was undertaken to evaluate whether there is a relationship between this polymorphism and type 1 von Willebrand disease (VWD), a disorder characterized by a quantitative deficiency of VWF. The association between this polymorphism ...

The activity of ADAMTS13, the von Willebrand factor (VWF) cleaving protease is low in several conditions, including HELLP (haemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelet count) syndrome. As HELLP syndrome develops in most cases on the basis of preeclampsia, our aim was to determine whether plasma ADAMTS13 activity is decreased in preeclampsia. Sixty-seven preeclamptic patients, 70 healthy...
متن کاملGenetic Variation in the von Willebrand Factor Gene in Swedish von Willebrand Disease Patients
von Willebrand disease (VWD) is often caused by genetic defects in the vonWillebrand factor (VWF) gene and is divided into three major subtypes: type 3 (VWD3) is characterized by total absenceofVWF, type2 (VWD2)by functionaldisturbance of VWF, and type 1 (VWD1) by low plasma concentration of functionally normal VWF.1 Diagnosis of VWD is challenging due to theheterogeneity of the disease and can...
متن کاملAssociation of IL-19 Gene Polymorphism (rs2243191T / C) with occurrence of preeclampsia in pregnant women
Introduction: Preeclampsia, the most common, yet unknown, pregnancy-related disease, is the leading cause of maternal mortality worldwide. Increased systemic inflammatory factors as a result of decreased serum levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines during pregnancy have made inflammation a key role in preeclampsia. In the present study, the relationship between the interleukin 19 polymorphism as...
متن کاملRelationship between rs3918242 Polymorphism of Matrix Methaloproteinase-9 Gene and Preeclampsia in Pregnant Women
Background: Preeclampsia is a complex disorder of pregnancy with an unknown etiology. Numerous studies have shown the possible role of gene polymorphisms, especially metalloproteinases, in development of this disease, but there are no definitive results. Objective: This study aims to investigate the possible association between rs3918242 (−1562C>T) polymorphism in Matrix Metalloproteinase 9 (M...
